movement for diverse bodies in three scenes

When we move, our inside moves with us. It is an invisible performance, not made for the eyes of an audience.

Movement for diverse bodies in three scenes depicts what usually remains hidden, like a Minuet for imaginative anatomy. Each of the three large-scale drawings, at 2000x1400mm, is roughly the volume of a body standing opposite you, close enough to be a reflection. The scale is not incidental, it places the viewer in a physical relationship with the work.

Developed over several semesters during Fletcher's MFA at the Zurich University of the Arts, the series traces an ongoing inquiry into what the body holds that the eye cannot see.
