fitting in

fitting in is a diary-like practice maintained since 2017, accumulating over 300 images. Imitation, opposition, continuation, and merging are key strategies for positioning the body in urban settings, public or private. Each intervention is documented with a self-timer, using a minimal and absurd approach to disrupt the everyday. Blending performance, installation, and image-making, the practice questions how shared spaces are constructed and inhabited.
